Teens Cast More Than 100 Million Votes
The following were honored today at TEEN CHOICE 2011, which aired live on FOX from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, CA. This year, teens logged on to www.teenchoiceawards.com and cast more than 100 million votes in support of their favorite celebrities from film, television, music, sports and fashion.
Hosted by Kaley Cuoco, the special also honored XXX Teen Choice Award winner Taylor Swift with the Ultimate Choice Award and Demi Lovato received the ACUVUE® Inspire Award.

Kaley Cuoco currently stars in the comedy series "The Big Bang Theory." She began her acting career at a young age, appearing in commercials and modeling. After making her television debut in 1992 in "Quicksand: No Escape" with Donald Sutherland, she went on to appear in "8 Simple Rules" with the late John Ritter. Cuoco’s film credits include "Virtuosity," "Picture Perfect," "Can’t Be Heaven" and "Lucky 13," and she was most recently seen in "Hop" opposite James Marsden and Russell Brand.

TEEN CHOICE 2011 will celebrate the hottest teen icons in film, television, music, sports and fashion in the choicest, star-studded two-hour event airing live Sunday, Aug. 7 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX. "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" leads the TEEN CHOICE 2011 nominees with 11 nominations, while GLEE and "The Vampire Diaries" each garnered nine nominations. In addition, Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez each earned six nominations.
Starting today, fans ages 13-19 can vote once each day per category for their favorite TEEN CHOICE 2011 nominees at www.teenchoiceawards.com. Host(s), performers, presenters and additional nominees will be announced soon.
